- What is check in/check out time?
- Check-in time is at 3:00pm. Check-out time is 12:00pm
- Do you allow smoking on property? In the rooms?
- We do not allow smoking on the property or in the rooms. We are a smoke free building. We allow smoking 15ft away from the front entrance of the hotel.
- How much do you charge for high speed/wifi internet access?
- High speed/wifi internet access is $11.99 for a 24hour period. Although, wifi is complementary for Kimpton InTouch members.
- Do you have a fitness center? What kind of equipment does it have? What are the hours?
- Yes, our fitness center has State-of-the art cardio equipment: treadmills, elliptical machines and recumbent bikes, all with individual LCD television screens, keyed access, free weights, balance ball, yoga mats and accessories, Plenty of room for stretching exercises and warm-up/cool-down, Water cooler, clean towels, newspapers and magazines, Earphones with extra ear pads, Personal trainers available upon request. The fitness center is open 24 hours a day, your room key grants you access.
- Do you offer room service? What are the hours?
- Yes, we do offer room service. It is 24 hours but does have a smaller menu from 11 pm - 7am.
- Do you have a business center?
- Yes, our business center is located on the 6th floor. It has a color printer as well as an ATM.
- Do you have a pool?
- Yes, our pool is located on the 17th floor and is open from 6am to 10pm.
- Do you have a spa? What are the hours?
- We do not have a spa on property. Our spa services come to you upon request through Relax and Rejuvenate. Their hours depend upon your request and availability. Please see the concierge for booking.
- How do I get to the hotel?

- Do you offer free shuttle service from the airport?
- We do not have a shuttle associated with the hotel. Go Airport Express is an option that is associated with the airport and should be booked 24hours in advance. You can reach them at (773) 247-1200.
- What are your cross streets?
- Illinois and State Street.
- Do you have onsite parking? How much is parking? Is it included in my room rate?
- We offer valet parking at our front entrance. Overnight parking is $50 per night and includes in and out privileges. Overnight parking is from check in until 2pm the day of check out. After 2pm on day of checkout the fee is based on hourly fees. Hourly parking is 0-3 hours $22, 3-6 hours $28, 6-12 hours $36, 12-24 hours is $50. Parking is not included in the basic room rate, although some packages offer parking and can be booked through the Kimpton Hotels reservation hotline.

- Will your rooms allow rollaway beds/cribs/playards? Is there a charge?
- All of our rooms allow for cribs and playards with no additional charge. Rollaways are only allowed in our City View King, King Spa Premiere, One Bedroom Suite, and Luxury Suite room types at a charge of $20 per night. Both are available upon request and availability.
- I booked on a website other than the hotel website and I need to make a change to my reservation. How do I do this?
- Contact the front desk, they will be able to assist you in changing your reservation.
- What is the minimum age requirement to check in to the room?
- 18 years old with credit card.
- What is your cancellation/deposit policy?
- By 5pm the day prior to check in with no penalty. After this time is it one night's room and tax.
- Is my ID/passport required at check in?
- Yes, a picture ID is required at check-in.
- What age do kids stay for free?
- There is no fee for kids.
- Do you have connecting rooms?
- Yes, we have many combinations of connecting rooms. Our most common is our King Deluxe to Queen Queen Deluxe room. Unfortunately we do not have connecting rooms between rooms with two beds.
- Do you have accessible rooms?
- Yes, we have accessible rooms. Some of these rooms include modified bath tubs with bars and added facility, and some include a roll-in shower. For more information on the accessible features of our hotel, click here.
- Do you have an early departure fee?
- With 24 hours notice there is no fee. After the 24 hour window the early departure fee is one night room and tax.
- What are the hours of the restaurant/bar/lounge?

- What forms of payment do you accept?
- We accept any major credit card, debit card and cash. We do require that a credit card be put down at the time of check in, we cannot accept cash deposits.
- How can the incidental deposit be made?
- This deposit can be placed on your credit or debit card.
- When will the incidental deposit be returned to my debit or credit card?
- The incidental deposit is released on the day of your departure at midnight. Your bank will then have to post the transaction to your account. This can take up to four business days and is based on the banking institutions discretion.
- How much money does the hotel authorize on my debit or credit card at check in?
- At check in we authorize your entire stays room and tax plus an incidental deposit.
Pets
- Are pets allowed? Are there restrictions for weight, height or types?
- Hotel Palomar is pet friendly and does not require a size or weight restriction. Guests with pets are required to fill out a waiver at check in, however an additional deposit is not required. Please contact us in advance if you are planning to travel with your pet. Using our pet registration form a makes it even easier to prepare for your companion.
- Do you have pet free rooms for those with allergies?
- We have a designated pet friendly floor and use non-allergenic, organic cleaning supplies to reduce allergies. To reserve a "pet free room" today call our VIP Reservations at 312.325.7226.
- Do you have pet sitting or dog walking services?
- Yes, this is arranged with the concierge or front desk.
- How far do you have to walk to take your pet out?
- The nearest dog park is 465 E. Illinois. Take a left out of the hotel and turn left on Illinois. Walk 7 blocks and it's on the left side of the street.
